Crossroads, oil en plein air painting, Jill Peckelun

I did this painting lickety split one afternoon.  I'd looked at this view often enough that it just came together pretty easily when I finally set out to paint it.  Crossroads.  We all meet them every day.

Great plein air work Jill. Do you go out to paint snow scenes in the winter? I guess the timing has to be right since we don't get very much snow in this region. The dark value at the bottoms of your trees really anchors the painting. Very nice.
