"Last Light", pastel by Tatiana Myers.

"Last Light", 8 x 10" on Wallis Belgium Mist.

One more of my small studies on gray Wallis paper.
I did this subject a while ago on different support
and now wanted to give some new 'twist" to it.
Working on darker surface has tendency to affect choice of colors
and make painting more strong and moody (at my case anyway),
what this one clearly is compare to early version
I did two years ago on white paper.
I really enjoyed working on all those blades of grass
and nuances of purple threading this painting together...
Hope You like it too!

Sue, Mary Beth, Claire - thank You to all of You! I'm having great time with my landscape paintings... Love this paper too. Unfortunately it is often out of stock. Have to hoard it.
