Copper Pitcher with Pumpkin by Beth Bathe

Copper Pitcher With Pumpkin, 6 x 8, oil on linen panel
Well, after eight weeks on the road, traveling through at least 13 states and visiting China I am now home. I returned home just in time to do a three day painting workshop with Qiang Huang. Qiang is the painter that I went to China with, and I was priviledged to take his class when he came to teach at the Artists of Yardley school, outside Philadelphia. Here is the first painting that I did from workshop.

I will be posting my paintings from China and my travels out west so keep checking my blog!

I am now selling my paintings through Daily Paintworks auctions.

Traditional composition given extra vitality with your excellent loose brushwork, vibrant color contrasts and great drawing-especially love the pitcher.
