BACKPACKING A SHEAF OF OATS, 18x14, pastel by Sharon Benner

I recently joined the Art Association of Harrisburg and decided to paint something for their all members show "Figuratively Speaking," I'm not trained as a portrait artist but I've been teaching myself as I go along and reading books and using my old standby method of seeing color notes and relationships with masses.

Wow, Sharon, I love this pastel! The expression is genuine and composition is very interesting. Good luck-I am sure it will be noticed.
