GIRL SCOUT CAMP, 12x18, pastel by Sharon Benner

The girl scout camp cabin is very near Codorus State Park in Hanover, Pa.  The camp has existed for many years and is a treasure to the community.  Several years ago it was almost sold off but the community stepped in and settled the financial issues and the girl scout camp was used again this summer.  This painting was lost in my studio closet but I unframed it and repainted several areas and hopefully improved it.  The darks are very rich and dark but the camera seemed to lighten them.

This looks familiar...I was a Girl Scout back in the day!
Thanks for sharing, Sharon. I like the blues.

Well, I don't know what it looked like before you "improved" it, but it sure is gorgeous now! A dreamy, magical view.
