SWEET-SMELLING HONEYSUCKLE By Cecelia Lyden

After driving around Boiling Springs for about 15 to 20 minutes, Julie and I finally decided to settle on one of the many "painting worthy"spots we happened upon. It was yet another partially cloudy, humid day. Luckily the sun was out enough for me to capture a shadow of the maple tree, which made the negative road space more interesting. The honeysuckle cascading over the grey stockade fence, however, became the focus of this painting.

Lovely Cecelia. Great stone work in the foreground. Boiling Springs is one of my favorite locations.
