This painting is of Carol & Ken. They are parents of a good friend of mine. I took this photo a few years ago always hoping to have time to paint them. They show up for all of their grandsons swim meets prepared to camp out and wait for the few moments of excitement when he swims. Then settle back into their seats and wait patiently for the next big event. Summer swim season is here...and what a lovely way to pass the time reading a book and relaxing with all the splashing and laughing going on nearby.

Very special and I love your attention to detail!
Brings back memories for me-lots of swim meets, baseball, lacrosse--on and on--went through many folding chairs--nice composition-beautiful work.
