Sierra is waiting to go home, by Linda Young

"Sierra" the Chocolate Labrador Retriever

 Watercolor Portrait by Linda Young

Here's Sierra as she looks right now; the owner of her will be coming by the studio this Wednesday and if there are no changes, she'll go home to be given to her "dad". My brother who knows the owners, said they are going to love it; they love their dog.

This is a beautiful watercolor of this chocolate lab. I am sure Sierra's owner will love it.

Thank you ladies; I can hardly wait to see her face when she finally sees the "real" thing instead of email photos.

Great job, Linda. I really like the orangish brown of the dog against the green and blue of the trees and water.

One thing I will probably do before she comes by is darken the shoreline nearest her neck. I think it needs that and I just noticed it. It bugs me.
