Miesse Caramels by Kim Smith

This was a fun painting to create, and the Miesses caramels were really amazing to eat afterward! I bought the candies at Central Market in downtown Lancaster. Such a wonderful place for visual inspiration for painting!

I had sea salt caramels for the very first time this year, and what a delicious treat they were! Your painting of these delectable items brought back all of the pleasure, without the calories!!! Wonderful painting, Kim - and welcome to the DPP blog! Can't wait to see more of your work up here.
P.S., If you are doing any miniature work, you might want to check out the DPP Challenge blog at http://dppchallengeblog.blogspot.com/
