AUGUST FIELDS
An Original Oil Painting
by Claire Beadon Carnell

'August Fields'
Oil on Linen Panel
18 x 24

This painting depicts one of my absolute favorite farms, which is
close to where I live.  When I drive by here, I often have to
pull over just to admire the contours of the land, and
the way one hill slopes into another. I hope that you get
the warm feel of the sun that I was attempting to paint,
especially today with the cold winter wind blowing!

Beautiful, peaceful landscape

This is a very nice piece. Reminds me of a California artist I follow, Ron Guthrie. He paints more western landscapes but the technique looks similar. Beautiful painting.

Thanks so much, Sharon.

Thank you, Michael - I know Ron Guthrie's work from back when I was up on Wetcanvas.com - and always loved it.
