Northeast National Pastel Exhibition 2013.

Yesterday I was informed that my pastel painting"Orchids in Ruby Glass-II"
was juried into 9th Northeast National Pastel Exhibition.
Perhaps some of You will better remember those orchids as an oil painting,
but truth is - original prototype for that oil was started in soft pastels.
I didn't find time to finish this one for a while and only did it few month ago.
For me this show is a huge accomplishment what I was very much looking forward to.
This will be first time when one of my soft pastels made it into
National "pastels-only"'type of exhibition. I'm very happy, no questions about it.
