About a year ago, I painted this nest as an ACEO,
and as soon as I had finished it I knew that
some day I wanted to paint it on a larger scale.
I just loved those little eggs peeking out of
the bottom edge of the nest...

I like the red ground for this... it is so warm. This looks like it was fun to paint... all the grass of the nest. Lovely.
