Went out painting Wednesday on the Gettysburg Battlefield and took Ace, my sons dog along. We had a fun trip and came home with four paintings by late afternoon. This painting has several qualities I like. First of all it looks "wet" and has some great edges and mixing of color. The location was interesting since it had a couple of elevations in view. The farm building dropped into the rolling landscape and the PA Monument was at eye level. Lots of fun to paint and kept the colors fresh and clean.
