Thanks for the compliment, Claire. I've heard of "Bird Legs" but I like "Chicken Legs" even better. My favorite part of these two characters is their white shirt and white bathing suite. They are not painted at all and just use the negative space of the white paper but appear whiter than the same white paper all around the character. That's a fun trick of suggestion in our brain and I love it. These kinds of optical illusions are fun and addictive.

Love the simplicity and your boldness, Larry!
Hysterical. I'm actually headed for the beach in a few days - guess I'll miss them!
Thanks Bertie and Dianne. I'm happy you enjoy my attempt at humor.
Very realistic in a representational sort of way. :-)
Love the way you did this!
Thank you Sunny. It's interesting to hear what others think about a few colored spots of paint on white paper.
Sometimes SIMPLICITY says so much...These make the viewer smile...Simple and Funny, a nice combo!
These definitely are fun paintings that do bring a chuckle. Great Job!
Thanks Sue and Kathy. Art is fun for both the artist and the viewer with the help of "IMAGINATION".
Your paintings make me smile. Reminds me of some people I know.
Thanks Deborah, we might know some of the same people. It's a small, small world after all!
Fantastic post and I always enjoy your work Larry. See you soon!
Thanks Mary Beth, artist's must find themselves but it's nice to have feedback and friends along the way.
