AT LAST! By Cecelia Lyden

WILLOW WEEP FOR ME by Cecelia Lyden Acrylic ~ 20 x 16

It was a long time between sales. Then suddenly a sale, followed by 2 others and a commission to paint a large River vista. The best thing about a sale for me, is not the money earned, but having someone like your work, to want it enough to spend their money for it.

Hooray! These paintings are lovely. I guess we must remember that, especially lately, folks can love and appreciate our work without having the means to bring it home.

YOURE RIGHT, DANNE. I HAD A POTENCIAL BUYER, WHO KEPT TELLING THE GALLERY OWNER, FOR MONTHS, THAT HE STILL WANTED ONE OF MY PAINTINGS, BUT WHEN FINALLY ASKED TO PUT MONEY DOWN, ADMITTED HE COULD NOT AFFORD IT-SIMILARILY WITH THE GRASS AND WATER PAINTING ABOVE-SEVERAL INTERESTED CUSTOMERS WHO COULD NOT AFFORD IT.
