A MONET MOMENT, 20x16, oil by Sharon Benner

Add caption
This still life came about when I couldn't decide on a fabric drop for the background.  The Monet poster hangs in my studio and I usually drape fabric over it to create a back drop.  I thought why not.  The silver pitcher makes a strong contrast to the soft Monet poster and the gold ball is just that, a Christmas ball!

Ditto Larry The colors in the Monet fit beautifully with the other objects in your painting.
