PURPLE CLEMATIS ADORNS ST. JOHN'S ALLEY By Cecelia Lyden

MORNING SHADE IN SIEBERT PARK
oil/stretched canvas

We had a full week of the most beautiful weather for the Camp Hill Plein Air Event- plenty of sunshine, puffy clouds, great light and shadows and cool temperatures. Recovering from pneumonia, I was only able to take advantage of 3 half days for painting, but was happy to be able to participate at all. Camp Hill has many interesting, as well as picturesque alleys behind many of their houses. The borough park is also a wonderful place to paint with its huge variety of trees and their cast shadows and its "moving" hilly terrain.

I spotted those purple clementis too. So happy you chose to paint them!

These are both wonderful, but I especially like the one with the purple clematis climbing over the fence.

Both paintings are nice, I like Siebert Park. Hope you are getting better every day.
