PLEIN AIR PAINTING ALONG THE CONODOGUINET
An Original Plein Air Oil Painting
by Claire Beadon Carnell

'Plein Air Painting Along the Conodoguinet'
 Plein Air
Oil
8 x 16

Day Three of the second annual Camp Hill Plein Air Event.

My Great-Aunt Margaret used to challenge me to learn
how to spell difficult words, and 'Conodoguinet' was one
that managed to glue itself to my memory cells.  I never
imagined that one day I would be painting along the
Conodoguinet on a beautiful Spring Day with egrets,
herons. black cormorants, bull frogs and turtles adding
to the beauty of the day!   I was so fortunate
that friend and fellow artist Linda Young let
me add her into my painting.

This was a great day to paint Claire and we had so many offers for us to paint in more people's yards too. We'll have to take another trip out there especially in the fall. I bet it's beautiful then.
Thanks for asking me to be your model.
