I've been studying trees this winter and have been attracted to the white native sycamore trees near my home. They really stand out against the bleak winter landscape. This old tree had twisted limbs near its base and its top branches went straight up. See more paintings www.hanoveraarts.com/42

I love sycamore trees too..sooo expressive, nicely done!
Lovely and very striking. Well done!
One of my favorite paintings of yours. You captured it perfectly and the colors in the background complete this lovely painting.
One of my favorite trees - they can be very chameleon-like depending upon the light. You really did a fantastic job on this one!
Think of the stories this tree could tell about it's struggles as a young sapling from twisted beginnings until now where it grows upright, tall and beautiful. Your love in painting this tree shows. I agree with Claire; fantastic.
Beautiful tree and beautifully painted. Your painting has a lot of movement and energy, almost dancing.
Susan - thanks for stopping by the blog to post a comment! Sharon - great work.
