Veggie Tails Watercolor Still Life by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Bertie Brown - Art is Instrumental

Veggie Tails

original watercolor still life/vegetables: 14" x 11"

Sophie said, “Let’s do a painting today."

We’ll use some veggies

With plenty to say

There at the groc’ry store

Dark and demure

Eggplants so purple

Their beauty secure

Then there were peppers

No they were not schleppers

Showing their colors

Like proud Irish mothers

Yellow and orange

Are some that we chose

Also some red hots

And greens that were not

Yes, let’s buy them

Not to fry them

But to show the world

Their outspoken beauty

It’s really our duty

To capture their clean

Bright sheen!
