I loved these wonderful hot pink phlox growing over
in my daughter's garden - they just popped with color,
as if to say 'LOOK AT ME!' They definitely caught
my attention, and since I am particularly fond of
the color pink, this was a joy to paint. As my
little grandaughters would say...this is pinkalicious!

I've never seen hot pink phlox--they really are gorgeous as is your painting. By the way, your granddaughters sound like they are pinkalicious as well.
