I am really glad you finished this, Linda. It is one of my favorites of all of the rose entries in the Paint and Draw challenge!

Really nice. You must have a great memory because that is well done.
My memory comes and goes, Ron, and if you see the original photo, it's not really like it. I really had a hard time remembering the rose center and also to figure out what a water droplet looked like. I flipped water from my brush onto the plexiglass table top to help figure it out. So, maybe that would be cheating a little with that sort of reference?
I must add though, the drawing came from the photo I just meant I didn't use it to paint by. Sorry to miss-stating a key element; this memory of mine isn't that good.
I love what you did with this challenge photo. The washy, soft focused background adds a lot of depth.
I love the movement you got in this painting, Linda. Beautifully done.
