My name is Mark H Brown, an artist from Carlisle PA. I'm excited to join the PA Painters blog and hope you will find my work inspiring. I'm working on a larger painting of White Roses. I always love the myriad of colors in "white". There is such a variety of warms and cools, enough to explore many subtle mixtures and to create painting excitement. Here is a detail of the painting so far. It will be unfolding over the next week. Come back to look . . .

Hello Mark, I am new to the blog as well. I think I may have met you at the Mount Gretna show. Your work is incredible and I look forward to seeing more.
Hey, I have a son named Mark Brown...but he's not an artist...I think we have shown in the same shows as I've seen your name in programs and think..hey, did my son suddenly learn how to paint!

Welcome Mark! I've long admired your work. Can't wait to see the process.
Welcome to DPP Mark. Are you a member of Carlisle Arts Learning Center? We'd be happy to have you if you're not. I'm anxious to see this white rose painting progress.
