A RIVER VIEW AT LIVERPOOL

acrylic on canvas

Six of us drove up to Liverpool on a pleasant, overcast, Wednesday morning . The temperature was comfortable and there was a nice light breeze to keep it that way for us. The partially cloudy sky created a soft look to the mountains and islands. The Susquehanna was smooth and silvery.

Cecelia, you captured the feel of this scene so beautifully. And I love the cool color harmony.

Cecelia, that part of the world surely has such a different "aire" about it, doesn't it. Nicely portrayed.

How neat to see both yours and Lyn's interpretation of this lovely scene - and to see that you each have your own unique perspective!
This is beautiful!

I agree with Linda about the Susquehanna River. Painting along the river is always a great experience. Well Done Cecelia!
