Day 30

Even with the intense heat and lack of rain we have
had here on the East Coast this past few weeks,
there are some flowers that just shine in the garden
this time of Summer. The purple coneflower, zinnias,
black-eyed susans and butterfly bush all manage
to make their way into a vase at my house so that
I can enjoy them inside as well as out!

Beautiful painting, Claire. That dark background really pops your subject.

Still going strong--still producing little jewels.

Thanks, everyone. This one started badly, and almost got pitched - but I decided to just dig in and work it out!
