Every Spring my boys play little league at Fisher Park in Upper Allen PA. Forsythia is planted along the walking trail and this is the view looking out into the surrounding farm field.

I love the way the forsythia frame the painting, Mary Beth!

I agree with Bertie. I was immediately drawn to the forsythia.

Thanks Bertie and Maria - I was at this location again yesterday and took several more photos of the area.

The forsythias are very well painted. I also like the way the rows lead your eye deep into the painting.

Quite beautiful, Mary Beth. The variance in value and color of the forsythia really give them depth, and the contouring of the rows leads the viewer into the painting. This is terrific!

Love it, Mary Beth. Reminds me of my childhood-growing up on the farm and taking long walks in the fields. Thanks for bringing back those memories!

This is certainly timely, Mary Beth -- I think I may have seen a similar view, on my drive to Pittsburgh yesterday! Great handling of the forsythia, and the plowed field holds that promise of the lush vegetation of summer. Very nice light, also.

It's very peaceful, and I love the depth. I also like the way the clouds mirror the closest part of the field, in their direction. Pulls together nicely!

Love the movement in the sky, fields and forsythia.
