Today we took a little trip

My Sophie girl and me..

I had to get her ready

All bundled up and zipped!

You’d think this is a simple thing

Yes, I thought so too

It took much longer than I had planned

With no one here to lend a hand..

Of course we’re running late

For our plein air painting date

As all these cars go whizzing by

Hey you, look out

I want to shout

There’s precious cargo

In transport here

I need Wells Fargo

To get us there!

We make it safely there and back

But I must say

I’ve lost the knack

For mindless driving to and fro..

Sophie and I

Will paint at home!
