"Iris Garden" by Tatiana Myers
14 x 11". Oil Pastel on Ampersand Museum Pastelboard.
I painted this floral work for upcoming group show what will run at 2-nd Floor Gallery next month. Partially I did it as DEMO painting at Gallerie 13 and partially placed stages of my work on my personal blog. It was fun to work with, but I'm glad to see it finished on time... and because I have so many of other projects and ideas to work with!
With questions about paintings e-mail me at TanyaOfOz@aol.com .

You do such delicate work with oil pastels; it's amazing! This is lovely.
Lavender, lace.....and many a pretty face....
I agree with Dianne--what amazing detail and subtle coloring.
Absolutely beautiful! I can feel those petals just by looking at them.

Beautiful Tatiana. The petals are so delicate!
Thank You, everybody!
I feel very honored to get a such a response.
Sorry, I'm not commenting much myself lately... Very busy and have a nasty cold on the top of it. Hopefully it will be gone by the weekend, I just can not afford to have one. :-)
Beautiful, Tatiana! I can't wait till they start blooming again!
Thank You, Amy!
I like the real ones too.
I would love to plant some all around our house!... But they are SO expensive! All I could afford - maybe few of them.
This is EXQUISITE, Tatiana. It's one of my favorite flowers, and you have done them proud!
Hope you are feeling better.
Thank You, Claire!
Yes, today is a first day during this week when I feel like alive person again (good feeling!)
We even went at art reception to see the opening of show in Mechanicsburg. Nice show. Somewhat lesser paintings that we expected to see.
Thank You for your compliment to my Irises.
