"Lift Me Up" Colored Pencil by Charlotte Yealey

9 x 12
Colored Pencil
I was going through old photos and remembered that this was one of my favorites so I created it in colored pencil. My husband and my granddaughter-she is now 13. I loved the way the light made them glow and I tried to capture that.

Babies are so difficult to paint--sometimes the lines are not soft enough making them look like little old people. Your rendition looks like an adorable, happy toddler--brings me back to the joys of our grandchildren as babes, now 19 and 17--beautiful job.
