It's been mighty cold in Fort Pierce, Fla. this past week, but I managed to spend an hour out on the terrace to paint these palm trees. It is warming up on Tuesday and my paints and canvases are ready to go.

It was 17 degrees this morning in Mechanicsburg. I can't wait to see your next post!

I love the muted coloring technique you used. You have really captured to feeling of the tropics. I lived on St.Croix for 5 years, and you make me miss it (along with the weather).

Oh, Cecilia -- this is so filled with sunlight, warmth and tranquility. We're visiting family in Ft. Lauderdale at the very end of January, so you've whet my appetite for that trip! Beautifully done.
