Sand and Shells" Mini#2 by Debra Tritt-Kreiger

Sand and Shells" Mini#2 3.5"x5 140lb Arches rough paper

Here is my second study. I love to paint the sand dollar. It can reflect a lot of different colors. and the shapes are nice to work with. I'm still dreaming of warmer weather!

Lovely painting Deb. It was great to see you yesterday at your Gallerie 13 studio. See you on Saturday at 2nd Floor.

What a wonderful range of subtle color. I love your shell series - they make me think of the warm days of Summer...sigh...

You have a winning series here. In baseball terms, a home run!

Nice, you should have Christmas ornaments made for your shell paintings.

I am mesmerized by the grainy sand and how beautifully you've captured the colors of the pebbles and the sun reflected bits of mica. Of course, those beautiful pastels in the sand dollar just lend even more to this gorgeous piece!
