Musically Inclined (Series)

Going Solo

The horn stands alone

Neither lost nor forlorn

Just a confident fellow

Shiny outside

Inside, mellow.

Its song is melodious

With high notes that soar

But can be quite odious

When notes don’t sound sure

One thing is certain

With a rising stage curtain

The horn likes to play

The solos he’s given

In a most excellent way!

Outstanding use of reflective color in this piece! Instruments are a work of art in themselves.

I just think this is beautiful, Bertie. I love the slightly oxidized look to the metal of the horn. Such a pretty painting!

Welcome Bertie. This is a wonderful painting. I love the composition and the colors used. I have two nephews who are very musically inclined, and appreciate and admire all who play. What a gift.
