One of the first things I do in the mornings is go out and work on drawings and pastels that I use as references for paintings. Here are the two I completed this am. I'll be working around this local Lititz farm for the next few weeks to produce several large paintings.
The first one is "Wayne's Farm", charcoal on newsprint sized 16" x 22".
The second one is "Barn #7, Wayne's Copper Top", charcoal and pastel on newsprint sized 16" x 22"
Thanks for viewing,

Morning personified--soft,dark, and quiet--expresses, exactly, my feelings about dawn. Thank you for sharing.
I enjoy seeing inside your methodology of a painting. And seeing the steps, I can admire your work even more. Thank you.
I also like seeing the thought process. The charcoal drawings are a great way to quickly lay out your thoughts. Wonderful! I can't wait to see more works in progress.
We live in an era that has completely changed the art world. Thank you Jack for letting us see your process. I look forward to seeing more of your posts.
