FIELD OF SUNFLOWERS
by Claire Beadon Carnell

'Field of Sunflowers'
Oil Painting 11 x 14
Currently for sale through the
Perry County Council of the Arts Gallery

Several years ago, a nearby farmer planted their
fields in sunflowers. Talk about a glorious sight!
This painting is one of several that came from
my observations and my good fortune.

Thank you!

As beautiful as the field of sunflowers is, the sky, clouds and trees in the middle and backgroud are outstanding--wonderful rendition of atmosphere, distance, and space.

Sunflowers are the best. When they are standing all together it is a awesome site. Wonderful painting. I'd like to walk that road.

Great work, Claire! Very classy. Love your choice of colors and... just generally like it. My favorite size too. :-)
I'm personally very comfortable with 11 x 14". Just big enough to look like "bigger painting", but small enough for working on details without fear of spending lifetime on it.

Claire, great painting. That must have been a glorius day painting all those sunflowers.

I can almost hear the buzzing bees and smug gold finches feasting on those serene sunflowers...the path beckons me to walk among nature's happy-ness!

Very nice, Claire! I've been hoping to find a field of sunflowers this fall, to do some work myself. Let me know if you get any good leads!

Me too--I would love to paint a field of sunflowers--maybe a painting field trip sometime.

Thank you Amy and Cecelia - I think a sunflower painting excursion sounds wonderful. I'll keep my eye out and see if there are any fields planted in sunflowers this summer.
