of North American Dragonfly Speciesthat I am painting in Transparent watercolors.
This watercolor study is done in a new format for me - having the dragonflies face
each other rather than one on top of another.

I started out my college life as a biology major, and have never lost my love for the science. Your paintings are so beautifully done! I like the tension of this composition, as well as how it shows off the dragonflies.
