This is another in my series of watercolor studies of North American Dragonflies. As you may notice, I chose these species of the Libellula Genus because of their festive color. Which, I admit, is the main reason behind my choices. I am experimenting with different formulas of how to place the Dragonfly Species on the Mat Board.

I am always taken by the colors and details of various creatures. Our family spends a lot of time outdoors. We love to look at mushrooms and various fungi as well.
