'Flowers in the Sky'

'Flowers in the Sky' is one of my recent landscapes. They are getting
rarer and rarer as I lean more to biological watercolor studies
of fish and insects. 'Flowers in the Sky' is a watercolor landscape of
the Susquehanna River with a flock of Hot Air Balloons floating overhead.
The original sold in less than an hour at a Live Demo at
Village Artisans Gallery in Boiling Springs.
Signed & numbered Giclee Prints are available through my galleries.
Image Size A : 9" x 4 1/2". Matted Size: 14" x 11"
Image Size B : 7" x 3". Matted Size: 12" x 8".
Note Cards are also available.

I can see why it sold so quickly, Thom. It's beautifully done. The hot air balloons add the uniqueness that is not often seen in the Susquehanna River paintings. I can get in the Rockville train and sometimes a boat, but never the balloons.LOL

Pat - I agree. It is refreshing to see our amazing river rendered in a light and fanciful mood. Very well done.

What a gorgeous painting! The colors are beautifully rendered, Thom. I like that the beautiful countryside does not compete with the beautiful balloons!

I agree with all above. An unusual piece very well done. The balloons give it a cheerful feeling.

No problem here seeing why this painting sold so quickly - what a fantastic view of the Susquehanna and those hot air balloons!
