SATURDAY MORNING by Cecelia Lyden

The children's intense focus and movement toward the soccer ball as opposed to the parents' relaxed and casual poses amused me . There are scenes like this all over America on Saturday mornings. The blond boy in the middle is my grandson, Ryan when he was 5 or 6 years old. This acrylic painting has been sold.

Welcome to the DPP blog! This is a wonderful painting, and surely touches many a parent/grandparent who has children involved in sports. Love your color palette in this too.

Welcome to the Daily Painters of Pennsylvania Blog. You have totally captured a common scene found in our present day society. Thank you!
