"Sunset at Kings Gap" by Debra Tritt-Kreiger

"Sunset at Kings Gap"
Watercolor

Painting size is 10"x13" and is painted on 140lb Arches cold pressed paper. The painting is for sale and can be seen and purchased at Gallerie 13.

I'm very excited to be a part of the Daily Painters of Pennsylvania. This is my first experience with blogging and it's a little challenging. Please let me know what you think.

This is a watercolor painting I did recently. It was a scene from Kings Gap on a nice cool autumn evening. I work from my own photographs in the comfort of my studio, but enjoy exploring Pennsylvania's great outdoors with my camera in hand.

Welcome to the Daily Painters of Pennsylvania blog, Deb. This is a gorgeous painting of one of the windows of the King's Gap Mansion - especially with the wonderful reflections in the glass. What views have been seen from that very window... You really caught the beautiful tones of the stonework as well! Very, very nice.

Debbie, Welcome, I'm soooo glad you decided to join us. This is a beautiful piece. I especially love the reflections in the glass and the way you were able to punch in those darks. That makes the light just sparkle on that glass.
