"November Tree" by Lyn O'Neal

I completed this little 8" x 10" painting today en plein air. It was a typically brisk Fall day and I loved how this tree was hanging on to it's bright orange leaves as if to say, "Winter, you'll have to wait until I'm finished with the display!" This painting is available for purchase through the Art & Soul Gallery in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania. Call 717-761-1270 or email artandsoul@pa.net.

I agree with Tatiana, you sure are fast. But, then, when you're good, your Lyn. It is a really nice painting. Great job.

What a little gem, Lyn. I sure missed being with you all today. Heard it was on the cold side, but you all sure got some excellent work done!

Hello Lyn and Welcome to our group blog! We are all very excited to have you join us in this awesome adventure. Also, congratulations on the re-opening as the new owner of the Art & Soul Gallery in Lemoyne PA. I will have to stop in the Gallery and see this painting of Big Spring Creek in person.

Lyn, this is a very appealing landscape. Lots of good color with the majority played down so the "main attraction" tree can be the star. Nice movement in the brushstrokes, also.
