"Breaking Light", oil, 9"x12" by Lyn O'Neal

Painted behind Allenberry Resort and Playhouse, this is the Yellow Breeches Creek. I was so taken by the light breaking through the trees onto the little waterfall, and the shadows all around it. It was Fall and the colors were peeking through. The crystal clear water hits the rocks and breaks into splashes and ripples. This painting is available for purchase at the Art & Soul Gallery in Lemoyne, PA. Call 717-761-1270 or email artandsoul@pa.net.

Wonderful Painting, Lyn! Looks like a work of one of old European masters. I like this one a lot.
BTW, are you planning to build a web site for your gallery?

This painting is so well unified. I really like the tone you set with the golden hue.

Lyn, I know the spot well, and you captured it so perfectly. This reminds me of a Constable, and is so masterfully done.
