These lilies are starting to come up in our garden. They are beautiful and wonderfully fragrant when in full bloom. I do not, however, know the name of this variety of lily and would appreciate it if someone would enlighten me.
I look at your beautiful painting, close my eyes and immediately the heavenly scent of these lilies comes forth. This is fantastic, Cecelia!

ReplyDeleteCecelia, this flower is called a Stargazer Lily. I have them in my garden and they have a heavy scent which can be noticed as my clients walk up to my door.

They look like colorful pin wheels...very festive...they should bloom at Christmas!
